Faltan días para que Depeche Mode se presente en el club Hípico, Santiago-Chile, el 15 de octubre 2009.
La gira "TOUR OF THE UNIVERSE" sigue su curso después de varios inconvenientes que ha debido enfrentar la agrupación británica en el último tiempo como: la enfermedad de Gahan, el fallecimiento del padre de Fletcher, entre otros.
La base de esta gira son las canciones de su último disco “Sounds of the Universe”, no es el mejor disco del grupo, pero encontramos buenos temas como: ‘Wrong’, ‘In Sympathy’, ‘Fragile Tension’, diferencia de grandes álbumes: Violator (1990), Black Celebration’ (1986), Music For The Masses’ (1987), Songs Of Faith And Devotion’ (1993), puros éxitos.
En varios conciertos han ido cambiando un par de canciones del set list inicial , "home" por "a question of time", "little soul" por "jezebel", o “In Simpathy” en lugar de “Policy of Truth”.
Y como no todo puede ser perfecto Habrán canciones ausentes como: Halo, home, Love, In Itself, somebody, Shake the Disease, A Question of Lust, It Doesn't Matter Two, World in My Eyes, clean, in you room, breathe … O no?
